About the course

An 18-week, project-based course that progresses from Python and exploratory analysis to statistics, data engineering, machine learning, deep learning, LLMs and deployment. Build models on real datasets, measure them against honest baselines, explain their limitations and complete a portfolio-ready data science product. No prior programming experience is required, but comfort with algebra helps.

What you will learn

Modules

  1. 01

    Python and exploratory analysis

    Use Python, NumPy, pandas, matplotlib and seaborn to clean, explore and visualise real datasets.

  2. 02

    Statistics and experiments

    Study probability, statistical inference, hypothesis tests, A/B testing and causal thinking.

  3. 03

    Data engineering and preparation

    Gather data with SQL and APIs, build reproducible pipelines and engineer reliable model features.

  4. 04

    Machine learning

    Train and evaluate regression, classification, ensemble, clustering and anomaly-detection models.

  5. 05

    Forecasting, NLP and deep learning

    Build time-series forecasts, text models and neural networks with PyTorch and Hugging Face.

  6. 06

    LLMs, deployment and capstone

    Create a RAG assistant, deploy and monitor a prediction service, and present a live capstone product.
